Halloween Bash
Every October, the Candlelighters Halloween Bash transforms into a magical night of costumes, candy, and community for children battling cancer and their families. Presented by the generous Ellis Family and their incredible team, this event brings together volunteers, sponsors, and donors to create a safe, joy-filled celebration complete with trick-or-treat stations, games, entertainment, and unforgettable surprises. For many families, it’s a rare chance to simply enjoy the season without the worry of hospital visits or treatments — and it’s only possible through the kindness of our community.
We need volunteers to support all aspects of the event!
- Set Up: Set Up will be focused on putting together equipment and decorating the venue!
- Parking Lot Attendants: With the event area being so large and spanning across a main road, we will need confident volunteers that can check in cars and direct them across the pedestrian bridge.
- Vendor/Volunteer Check In: We will need a strong team of confident people who will be able to direct Trunk or Treat sponsors to their parking spaces.
- Family Registration: Friendly faces needed to ensure the families get everything they need to have an amazing night!
- Trash Team: We'll need a dedicated group of individuals to make sure we keep the venue pristine for the families and Formula 1.
- Raffle Attendants: This small and mighty team will advertise the raffle packages to the families and ensure they know the rules of the game!
- Tattoo Station: If glitter is your thing, this is your table!
- Game Attendants: We will be running several tabletop carnival games! Volunteers explain the rules and hand out prizes.
- Ride Attendants: This team will be on crowd control duty and ensuring that every kiddo waits their turn!
- Food Service Squad: This dedicated team will serve the families in the buffet line for a 5 star experience!
- Tear Down Team: This amazing team will help break down equipment and pack up our decorations!
*All minors must be chaperoned.
