Meet our Young Adult Advisory Council!

Candlelighters’ Young Adult Advisory Council (CYAAC) is a passionate community of young adult survivors, siblings, and bereaved siblings who have been impacted by childhood cancer. CYAAC exists to ensure that young voices are heard and valued by creating space for connection, shared experiences, and meaningful input. Members offer insight into the unique challenges of navigating diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and loss as adolescents and young adults, helping shape programs and support that truly reflect what matters most during and beyond a pediatric cancer journey.

Through leadership, collabortation, and advocacy, members provide feedback, develop programs and events, and build meaningful connections, all while making a lasting impact for adolescents and young adults affected by cancer.
