CANDLELIGHTERS' HALLOWEEN BASH
Every October, the Candlelighters Halloween Bash transforms into a magical night of costumes, candy, and community for children battling cancer and their families. Presented by the generous Ellis Family and their incredible team, this event brings together volunteers, sponsors, and donors to create a safe, joy-filled celebration complete with trick-or-treat stations, games, entertainment, and unforgettable surprises. For many families, it’s a rare chance to simply enjoy the season without the worry of hospital visits or treatments — and it’s only possible through the kindness of our community.
Over the years, supporters like you have helped fund critical programs for these brave kids. Whether you choose to volunteer your time, sponsor the event, or hand out candy, your involvement helps light up the lives of children who need it most. On Thursday, October 23, 2025, Candlelighters hosted its annual Halloween Bash at the Grand Prix Plaza, home of the FORMULA ONE HEINEKEN LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX, transforming it into a night of costumes, candy, and pure joy for children facing childhood cancer and their families.
This year’s celebration was a huge success, with over 120 families and 375 kids joining in the fun! Families enjoyed trunk-or-treating, games, rides, and festive activities, all designed to create a safe, joy-filled space for kids to be kids.
The event invited families whose diagnosed child or bereaved siblings are aged 12 or under to create special memories away from hospitals and treatments. Thanks to the generosity of the Ellis Family and the Ellis Island team, this cherished tradition once again brought smiles, laughter, and moments of normalcy.
