Rochelle Nguyen brings a lifelong commitment to serving families and strengthening the community to her role as Chief Executive Officer of Candlelighters. With a background spanning law, nonprofit leadership, and the Nevada Legislature, Rochelle is passionate about building partnerships, expanding support services, and ensuring that every child, sibling, and caregiver feels seen and supported through their cancer journey. She is dedicated to leading with compassion, collaboration, and a vision for long-term impact.

A proud Las Vegan and mom of two, Rochelle believes deeply in the power of community to lift families up during their most challenging moments. She is honored to guide Candlelighters into its next chapter and to champion the incredible families we serve.

Rochelle loves reading—especially book series—and once she starts, she can’t stop until she’s finished every book (even the not-so-great ones). She reads about 50 books a year.
