Rochelle Nguyen, CEO of Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada, brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, law, and public service, including work with the Nevada Legislature. A proud Las Vegas native and mother of two, Rochelle is deeply committed to building community partnerships, expanding family support services, and ensuring every child and caregiver feels seen and supported throughout their cancer journey.
As Chief Executive Officer, Rochelle leads Candlelighters with compassion, collaboration, and a vision for long-term impact, strengthening the organization’s reach across Southern Nevada and advancing childhood cancer awareness and care.
Amy King, Chief Development Officer of Candlelighters
Amy King, Chief Development Officer at Candlelighters, is a second-generation Las Vegas native whose journey with the organization began as a Camp Firefly counselor in 2015. Inspired by the resilience of children with cancer and their families, Amy has dedicated herself to expanding community engagement and philanthropic support for Candlelighters’ mission.
With over 15 years of experience in business leadership, strategic planning, and organizational development across four states, Amy leads fundraising strategy, donor partnerships, and development initiatives that help ensure families facing pediatric cancer receive the support they need.
