Lisa Curran - Volunteer Program Manager
Lisa is a native Las Vegan, attended K-12 at The Meadows, and earned her BA degree in Communication from Villanova University (just outside of Philadelphia, PA) on a softball scholarship. She has lived in South Florida, Arizona, and California (very briefly), before settling back home in Nevada after 10 years of living elsewhere. While in Arizona, she began her career in nonprofits working with the Girl Scouts, then the Boys & Girls Clubs. After taking some time off to raise her son (Clark, who is now 4), and moving around the country a bit, she returned home to Las Vegas and continued her nonprofit work as the Volunteer Director with Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada where she had been from 2015-2018.
Lisa joins Candlelighters as the Volunteer Program Manager, where she is excited to bring her previous professional experience to help serve children diagnosed with cancer and their families.
