In today's ever-changing landscape of media, nobody navigates the changing trends and dynamics better than Lisa Santwer. Expert in media relations on a local, regional and national level, her acumen and dedication have served the interests of a diversity of clients from real estate to hospitality, non-profit, insurance, government, gaming, healthcare, law and beyond.
As a member of the Purdue Marion team since the firm's inception, she implements PR strategy and oversees media relations for many of the agency's marquee clients. Of particular note is her work for Focus Property Group, for whom Lisa has successfully captured national media coverage with such news outlets as The New York Times, U.S.News & World Report, ABC Nightline, The Wall Street Journal and the Discovery Channel, just to name a few.
Lisa pairs her media savvy with her passion for community outreach to elevate the profile of many of the agency's clients. In this arena, she helped to create an outreach program for Focus Property Group called the Mountain’s Edge Explorer Post and Community 911. Her efforts on behalf of these projects have resulted in local and national honors, including the Public Relations Society of America’s Best of Show--winning best outreach program two years running, and she has been recognized in Who's Who in Professional Services of Southern Nevada many times over.
Lisa’s philanthropic efforts extend from the professional realm to her personal life, serving as a board member for Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada, an inaugural member of a young community group organization, and volunteering for Olive Crest, Through the Eyes of a Child, The Lili Claire Foundation, American Heart Association and numerous other worthy organizations that are making a positive impact on the lives of her fellow Southern Nevadans.
Lisa earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She's a near lifelong resident of the bustling, burgeoning Las Vegas Valley. Maybe that's why she's so comfortable with ever-changing landscapes.
