Laura Riffel
After battling and surviving breast cancer twice, Laura Riffel knew that her life was spared in order to make a difference. She became involved with Candlelighters at the suggestion of a family friend. Laura has been very instrumental in the successful growth of the Southern Nevada Chapter of Candlelighters. Her 17 years of retail management experience with major companies like Neiman Marcus as well as her extensive medical field experience have been an invaluable resource.
Laura has served as the Golden Gala committee chair for four years. The 2006 Golden Gala, under Laura’s leadership, was our most successful with over 900 attendees. Laura has served on the board since 2005. She is a native Nevadan, and currently spends time with her husband Brian, and their seven year old daughter, Ohara.
